Hello and

Welcome to Rippletrix Border Collies

​I have worked, trained and lived with Border Collies for over 30 years. From a young age I was fascinated with these elegant and intelligent dogs and the work that they did around the farms. Once I had started working as a farm hand and had got first-hand experience of their drive to work and the unwaning will to please. From this point I decided these were the breed for me and I have never wanted any other breed and don't think I ever will.

I came out of farming to concentrate on building up my small animal veterinary physiotherapy clinic, That was 20

years ago and Border Collies have remained a huge part of my life. 

My dogs are a mixture of K.C. registered and dual K.C, and I.S.D.S. registered. All live in my home and come to work everyday with me.

My dogs are my full-time occupation. My work as a veterinary physiotherapist is my second job (tee hee). Their fitness, mental and physical stimulation and health is the most important factor in my life.

In our spare time we train and compete in dog agility and spend many hours running on the beach

I was really pleased to achieve my Kennel Club Approved Breeder Status and I take pride in producing exceptionally well bred, healthy, intelligent and gorgeous Border Collie puppies who grow up to be fun loving, sporty and awesome companions.

All my dogs are health tested to the high K.C. and I.S.D.S standards and my lines are selected to produce the best possible offspring. 

I only breed a litter when I wish to start off a puppy of my own so my litters are limited and in demand when available.

I had originally planned litters from Niobe and Fusion back in 2020 but once Covid hit I decided that it was very much the wrong time to breed as people would be breeding and buying puppies for all the wrong reasons.

I had spent quite a while researching the lines that I got my young dogs from and now I would like to develop these lines together to produce my special Rippletrix lines.

Stud dogs

I will consider letting some of my boys out for stud duties to suitable bitches. 

Please ask for details, pedigrees and health status. All stud duties will be to K.C. Assured Breeder standards
